Chapter 2: Homophobia
Chapter 2: Homophobia
It's the fear of loving someone similar. The only barrier that exists between people of the same sex is their strong affinity.
Banning people from love awakens a feeling of overcoming.
Where the individual seeks his place in society as an oppressed being.
And every person who shares the same feeling is attracted by this force, forming repressed groups.
The freedom of a body depends solely on the person who controls it, therefore, there is a search for pleasure and happiness, from the individual who wishes to love and be loved.
In the end, even if there are laws for the continuous flow of life of humanity.
Choices can be made, we are all fruits of the same network, we have a soul that guides us to be charitable and kind to one another.
Solidarity with those who choose their own paths. There's no price to alleviate the feelings of guilt, whether about a love or lifestyle imposed by society.
Fears of closeness, when you are young, people are impressionable and grooming can occur, but realize that we are separated from childhood, bathroom for girls and another for boys.
I understand there's a sense of distrust, but they're human. Forbidding love between them would only cause pain. Just as if you owned two male lions and tried to prevent them from mating, in this natural scenario, you'd end up much more hurt.
Since the beginning of history, an oppressed being has always sought revenge. This is what happens; society must understand and coexist in harmony. Through education, people have learned to respect certain customs. Even a parent cannot restrict the path destiny has in store for their child. They can teach what is right, but love is a powerful feeling that only time can elicit.
Friendship has its barriers; it involves much more than just interests. In social settings, interactive relationships should not be gender-specific.
As humans, people should be treated equally and impartially. It's as if an attitude you consider immoral doesn't apply in the same way to someone else's morality.
Morality and good customs come from a social group that has established rules for coexistence. Accepting another group with different ideals does not mean corruption, but rather adaptation, growth towards evolution.
An organ, whether the skin or the genitals, is part of the whole human body. To act as if they were more important than the heart or the brain to a society would be savage, something like a mental setback for humanity.
Repression, rejection, and non-acceptance are like a contagious disease. You must realize that only the joy and self-affirmation of sexuality are contagious.
With experience, gender becomes a classification, like one of the classes you attended. The discomfort of someone else's gender is the same discomfort of remembering someone and them not remembering you. Accept your choice as you would the other person's choice of sexuality.
Keys of time: Fear, Discrimination, Ignorance and Pride.
